A week ago I did not think this was possible, but we have survived the first week of school. We have survived so well, in fact, that we’re back into our old routine and summer feels like a distant memory already. I’ll get back to you about how I feel about that. My kids have discovered the “Garfield” cartoons on Netflix and adore them. They think Garfield is the funniest thing ever. I’m trying to figure out where, exactly, I went wrong here.

When we went to meet Quinn’s teacher Beckett clambered up into a chair next to Quinn’s desk and sat, ready to learn. We had a hard time persuading him he had to go home:
